The McDonough House, built in 1870, is designed to be your home away from home.  Vacations and getaways are meant to be just that - why be cramped in a hotel room when you can have a home - with all the amenities!

The McDonough House is just blocks from River Street, museums, fine dining, the night life, Savannah College of Art and Design and is located in the beautiful Historic District of Savannah, Georgia.

Transportation is just a step out your doorway.  There are Pedicabs, horse and buggy, trolley tours, and more.  We will provide you all the information.  Do you want to get away from the city?  Beautiful Tybee Island Beach is just a short 15 minute drive.  Fort Pulaski, Fort Jackson, Bonaventure Cemetery - always famous to us, but made more so in the novel and movie, "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil".  It is 20 minutes from the Savannah International Airport and 35 minutes to Hilton Head.
